Schedule

• All shifts available: days, evenings, and overnights
• Consistency in care assignments (rotating the same caregivers for clients)
• Commitment to scheduled shifts required for client relationships and routine

Responsibilities

• Be caring and compassionate toward clients and their caretakers
• Show up on time
• Assist with personal care and hygiene, including incontinence care
• Meal preparation
• Light housekeeping
• Accompany clients on outings
• Shopping and errands
• Medication assistance and reminders
• Ambulation and transporting of clients
• Provide companionship to clients
• Follow care plans
• Documentation and charting

Requirements

• Experience in caregiving, either professionally or personally
• Must be 18 years or older
• Valid driver’s license
• Good judgment when dealing with patients, visitors, families, and coworkers
• Ability to work independently while maintaining a calm and focused demeanor
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Compassion, drive, and self-motivation
• Ability to adapt to clients’ needs and balance work-life demands

About the Role

We provide private in-home care (not facility-based) and strive to give clients consistency by assigning the same care assistant. This allows both the client and assistant to form a relationship and routine. Caregivers should be adaptable, compassionate, and capable of engaging clients with fun ideas or relaxation as needed.
