In-Home Caregiver with Paid Training
About the Program
Assured Quality Homecare (ASQ) offers a paid Personal Care Aide (PCA) training program with employment opportunities after successful completion. No professional caregiving experience is required. Selected applicants will receive paid training through Empower Training Academy at our Norwich corporate office.

Attendance Requirements
This is a professional training and employment opportunity. Attendance at every class is mandatory. Participants must arrive on time, remain engaged, complete all program requirements, and be prepared to begin working after graduation.
Responsibilities
After training, you will:
- Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other daily activities
- Support safe walking, mobility, transfers, and exercises
- Prepare meals and encourage proper nutrition and hydration
- Provide medication reminders and companionship
- Complete light housekeeping and maintain a safe home environment
- Observe and report changes in the client’s condition
Qualifications
We hire for character and train for skill. Strong candidates are compassionate, reliable, cheerful, professional, open to coaching, and ready to work.
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable vehicle with current auto insurance
- Ability to attend every scheduled training session
- Availability to begin working after completing the program
- Ability to work weekends when matched with a client
- Basic technology and communication skills
- Genuine interest in helping older adults

$18-$20 per hour
