Compassionate Friends Homecare LLC is a veteran-owned company dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate homecare services to veterans. This role involves assisting veterans with various daily activities, ensuring their comfort, and supporting their overall well-being.

Responsibilities

• Tend to clients’ social and emotional needs by joining them in activities and providing companionship
• Support mobility (help with walking, transfers, or use of mobility aids)
• Take clients to their medical appointments or personal errands
• Provide medication reminders
• Prepare meals, do laundry, and perform light housework
• Aid with daily living tasks such as dressing, toileting, bathing, grooming, and eating
• Identify and address safety issues in the home or facility
• Keep accurate records of care provided

Requirements

• Capable, motivated, and willing to learn and grow
• Willingness to assist with activities of daily living
• Ability to perform mobility tasks
• Knowledge of medication management
• Basic kitchen and cleaning skills
• Attention to detail and ability to keep accurate records

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in caregiving or related field preferred
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if applicable)
• Passing background check
