About the role
We are looking for Caregivers available for DAY shifts with weekday and weekend availability. Current needs include caregivers in Hood River and The Dalles. We have open weekend shifts for part-time work and a variety of short shifts that can be stacked for a fuller schedule. Bilingual caregivers preferred (Spanish speaking). All levels of care experience are welcome—we will train.
Responsibilities
- Household chores (cleaning, laundry, dishes, etc.)
- Cooking and/or serving meals
- Helping clients bathe, dress, and groom
- Providing companionship through daily activities and hobbies
- Driving clients (as needed) to the store or appointments
- Monitoring and reporting on their condition
Requirements
- 18 years+
- Ability to pass a state and national background check
- Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and clean driving record
- Ability to complete state-required caregiver/HCA training as needed
- Ability to adapt to flexible schedules
- Must be able to transport clients in a reliable vehicle; must have WA or OR driver's license and active auto insurance
Pay
$21–$21.50 per hour depending on level of care given, plus paid training and mileage reimbursement.
