Responsibilities
- Aid the client with personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing
- Support mobility and transfers such as moving from bed to wheelchair
- Prepare light meals
- Provide medication reminders
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Perform light housekeeping duties
- Monitor and report any changes in the client’s health or behavior
- CNA, NA, or PCA certification (training provided for those interested)
Requirements
- Reliable transportation and valid Virginia driver's license
- Valid Social Security card
- Two professional references
- Pass background check according to state and federal requirements
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable
- Respectful and professional demeanor (experience with or appreciation for veterans a plus)
Qualifications
CNA, NA, or PCA certification (online training provided for those interested in PCA certification)
