Responsibilities
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as dressing/grooming, toileting/incontinence care, bathing, and mobility support
- Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversation and activities
- Auxiliary with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands
- Offer transportation and accompany clients to appointments, outings, or social events
- Maintain an awareness of clients' overall well-being and report any concerns
- Maintain a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor at all times
Qualifications
- At least 3-6 months of professional or personal experience in home care, caregiving, or related field
- Valid driver's license, car insurance, and reliable transportation
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Negative results of either a 2-Step TB Test or TB Quantiferon Gold Blood Test
- Experience with dementia care
