In-Home Caregiver – Hoyer Lift Trained

About the role

We’re looking for a compassionate and reliable part-time or full-time Caregiver to join our team and support a client in the Fort Wayne, IN area. In this role, you’ll provide hands-on assistance with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, laundry, and companionship—making a meaningful difference each day.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on assistance with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, laundry, and companionship.
• Use a Hoyer lift as part of your duties.
• Ensure the safety and quality of care provided to the client.

Requirements

• Experience using a Hoyer lift.
• Dependable and patient personality.
• Passionate about helping others.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Skills

• Hands-on caregiving experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• Physical stamina and strength.
