Job Summary

The Visiting Angels office in Lawton is seeking dedicated individuals to provide compassionate care and support to senior adults and those in need through In-Home Caregiver - Housekeeper roles. This position offers the opportunity for personal growth and development.

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Ambulate and assist clients with mobility
• Provide personal care and hygiene assistance
• Plan and prepare meals with clients' assistance
• Perform light housekeeping duties
• Shop for clients or accompany them to shops
• Support clients with routine exercises
• Be a companion and support person
• Report and respond to emergencies

Requirements

• Passion to serve others
• Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid
• Housekeeping and cooking skills with dietary considerations
• Willingness to follow health and safety standards
• Respectful and compassionate attitude
• Good time management and communication skills
• Strong ethics
• Physical endurance
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Preferred: Complete Covid Vaccination
