In Home Caregiver - Housekeeper

About the role

Visiting Angels of Brighton, a locally owned and operated in-home care agency, is seeking a qualified, reliable, and compassionate In Home Caregiver - Housekeeper to join our award-winning team. This role serves clients in Brighton and surrounding areas, including Thornton, Northglenn, Commerce City, Reunion, Ft. Lupton, Lochbuie, Hudson, Keenesburg, Frederick, Firestone, Dacono, Mead, Erie, and Platteville.

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients with routine exercises
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old
• Minimum of 1 year caregiving experience
• Valid Driver’s License
• Pass a background check
• Random drug testing

Schedule

Shifts offered include full-time, part-time, 8-hour, 10-hour, 12-hour, PRN, short shifts, and overnights.
