About the role
New Hope is seeking to hire a part-time caregiver to provide reliable, compassionate in-home non-medical care and assist with household tasks.
Responsibilities
- Provide in-home care and assistance to clients
- Aid with personal care tasks
- Help with meal planning and preparation
- Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry, cleaning, and organizing
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assist with medication reminders
- Accompany clients to appointments or social outings
Requirements
- Pass drug tests and background checks
- Valid driver's license or state ID
- Excellent communication skills, flexibility, compassion, and reliability
Qualifications
Previous experience as a caregiver or in a related field
Willingness to assist in daily cleaning and home upkeep tasks
Ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families
Compassionate and patient demeanor
Ability to handle emergencies calmly and efficiently
