In Home Caregiver

About the role

New Hope is seeking to hire full-time and part-time caregivers to provide reliable, compassionate in-home non-medical care to their clients.

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic everyday needs (including, but not limited to, cooking, cleaning, transportation, and companionship)
• Provide in-home care and assistance to clients
• Aid with personal care tasks
• Help with meal planning and preparation
• Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry, cleaning, and organizing
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
• Assist with medication reminders
• Accompany clients to appointments or social outings

Requirements

• Pass drug tests and background checks
• Valid driver's license or state ID
• Excellent communication skills, flexibility, compassion, and reliability

Qualifications

Previous experience as a caregiver or in a related field is preferred but not required.

Ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families

Caregiver must have a compassionate and patient demeanor

Must be able to handle emergencies calmly and efficiently
