In Home Caregiver

About the role

At Home Instead, our mission is simple: to expand the world's capacity to care. We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Caregivers with an active HCA or CNA certification to join our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of older adults and their families. Service Areas: This Position Will Primarily Serve Clients In West Seattle, Central, or North Seattle.

Responsibilities

• Assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene assistance
• Safe transfers and mobility assistance
• Ambulation and transfers, including assisting the client with walking and getting in and out of bed or chairs
• Light housekeeping
• Alzheimer's, Dementia, and Parkinson's care
• Medication and appointment reminders
• Monitoring and promoting client safety, comfort, and well-being
• Communicating effectively and compassionately with the client, family members, and the Home Instead care team

Qualifications

• An active HCA or CNA certification (REQUIRED)
• A valid driver's license and auto insurance (preferred, but not required)
• Willing to work in Service areas: West Seattle, Central Seattle, North Seattle & Shoreline
• A compassionate, patient, and dependable attitude
• Committed to treating clients and their homes with dignity and respect

Pay

$22.00-$32.00 per hour, depending on shift
