In-Home Caregiver

About the role

As a Home Care Assistant, you will provide essential support to our clients with daily living activities, personal care, and household chores. You will work closely with our clients, their families, and our care team to ensure that each individual receives the care and attention they need to thrive.

Responsibilities

• Assisting clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Providing personal care services, including incontinence care and wound management
• Aiding with meal preparation, medication management, and other household tasks
• Engaging in conversation, recreational activities, and providing companionship to promote mental well-being
• Maintaining accurate documentation of client care and services provided
• Collaborating with other care professionals to ensure seamless transitions and ongoing care

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic computer skills for scheduling and record-keeping
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if applicable)
• Passion for making a positive impact on people's lives

Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include:

• Previous experience in home health care or related field
• Training in first aid and CPR
• Experience with elderly care and/or disability care
