Responsibilities

• Tend to clients’ social and emotional needs by joining them in activities and providing companionship
• Support mobility (help with walking, transfers or use of mobility aids)
• Take clients to their medical appointments or personal errands
• Provide medication reminders
• Prepare meals, do laundry and perform light housework
• Aid with daily living tasks, such as dressing, toileting, bathing, grooming, and eating
• Identify and address safety issues in the home or facility
• Keep accurate records of care provided

Requirements

The ideal candidate should be capable, motivated, and willing to learn and grow. They must be able to:

• Tend to clients’ social and emotional needs by joining them in activities and providing companionship

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must:

• Have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Be able to pass a background check
• Be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation

• Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism
• Knowledge of basic first aid and emergency response procedures
• Proficiency in using household appliances and equipment
