In Home Care Provider - The Dalles

About the role

We are seeking Caregivers for DAY shifts with weekday and weekend availability in The Dalles, Hood River, Wasco, and surrounding areas. We are hiring for all levels of care experience and provide training. Current needs include caregivers in Hood River and The Dalles, open weekend shifts for part-time work, and a variety of short shifts that can be stacked for a fuller schedule. Bilingual caregivers are needed—Spanish speaking preferred.

Pay

$21–$21.50 per hour depending on level of care given, plus paid training and mileage reimbursement.

Responsibilities

• Household chores (cleaning, laundry, dishes, etc.)
• Cooking and/or serving meals
• Helping clients bathe, dress, and groom
• Providing companionship through daily activities and hobbies
• Driving clients to stores or appointments as needed
• Monitoring and reporting on clients' condition

Requirements

• Age 18 years or older
• Ability to pass a state and national background check
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and clean driving record
• Ability to transport clients in a reliable vehicle
• Ability to complete state-required caregiver/HCA training as needed
• Ability to adapt to flexible schedules
• Reside in Hood River or The Dalles for local clients
