Position Summary As a Personal Care Assistant, you aren't just completing a list of tasks—you are partnering with each client to help them live as independently, comfortably, and meaningfully as possible. What You'll Do Depending on the needs of your assigned client, you may: Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, meals, and other personal-care needsEncourage clients to remain as independent and involved in their own care as possibleProvide companionship and meaningful social interactionLead planned or spontaneous life-enrichment activitiesProvide medication remindersAssist with light housekeeping and meal preparationProvide respite support for familiesAssist with transportation to pre-arranged appointments or activitiesObserve changes in a client's health or behavior and communicate concernsMost importantly, help create moments of connection, dignity, purpose, and joy Who We're Looking For We're Looking For Someone Who Is Compassionate. Patient. Reliable. Flexible. Engaging. You should genuinely enjoy spending time with older adults and be comfortable supporting individuals who may be frail, experiencing memory loss, or need assistance with personal care. We especially value someone who can take initiative, remain calm when situations change, communicate well with families and the care team, and bring a positive attitude and sense of humor into someone's day.
