In-Home Aide / PCA or CNA

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented In-Home Care Aide to support a client at their home in Huntersville, NC. On Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings, you will be the critical link in ensuring the client is safely woken up, dressed, and fully prepared for their dialysis day. Because of the medical necessity of these appointments, absolute punctuality is non-negotiable.

Key Responsibilities

• Dialysis Prep (Mon/Wed/Fri, 5AM–7AM): Assist the client with waking, gentle transfers, personal hygiene, and dressing so they are completely ready for their day of dialysis.
• Standard Morning Care (Tue/Thu/Sat, 9AM–2PM): Assist with full bathing/grooming, preparation of healthy breakfasts and lunches, and medication reminders.
• Light Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, sterile, and organized environment (tidying up, washing dishes used during breakfast, and keeping walkways entirely clear of fall hazards).
• Companionship & Comfort: Provide supportive, encouraging care during stressful treatment mornings.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Previous professional experience as an In-Home Aide or CNA is preferred. Experience with dialysis patients or high-reliability medical schedules is a major plus.
• Punctuality: Must be an absolute "early bird" with a proven track record of perfect attendance. * Compliance: Must have a Current TB Test.
• Transportation: Valid Driver’s License and a reliable personal vehicle to guarantee on-time arrival for the 5:00 AM blocks.

Schedule Structure

This position features an alternating morning schedule. The ultra-early morning block is specifically dedicated to getting the client safely prepared for their scheduled dialysis appointments:

• Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays: 5:00 AM – 7:00 AM
• Tuesdays, Thursdays, & Saturdays: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Compensation

$15.00 - $16.00 per hour
