In-Flight Ground Attendant

About the role

STAjets is seeking a strong Ground Attendant to join our In-Flight Services Team. We are a growing leader in corporate charter operations with additional aircraft recently added and continued growth on the horizon. This is a ground-based position focused on supporting our aircraft and ensuring exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Assist with coordination of aircraft initial set-up, diagrams, and profiles
• Support Flight Crews and Charter department with departing and arriving aircraft, including checking amenities, literature, and specific requests
• Ensure all stock is fresh and aircraft are clean
• Conduct daily aircraft audits to check for expired stock, organization, cleanliness, and report any interior blemishes to PIC and/or In-Flight Service managers
• Inspect aircraft coming in/out of maintenance, including weight and balance for on/offloading of interior items
• Inventory aircraft, prepare lists, and provide desired amenities
• Manage dry cleaning and laundry: verify all items returned from the cleaning service are inventoried and place them in designated storage areas
• Restock and clean both stockrooms in SNA and VNY; shop for necessary items, rotate and organize amenities, and prepare boarding snacks/baskets
• Check all storage areas, including aircraft lockers and cages, for organization and cleanliness
• Handle last-minute needs for the Charter Department, including catering requests, client visits, and aircraft displays
• Organize and log daily duties
• Keep client and aircraft files organized
• Assist with management stockroom inventory
• Perform other duties and tasks as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
• Must have and maintain a valid California Driver’s License (restricted licenses are not acceptable)
• Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Must live within 30 miles of SNA airport
• Previous FBO or aircraft experience required

Skills

• Able to work in a fast-paced industry
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred
• Experience using the Expensify App for expense reporting
