In-Come Caregiver

SummitWest Care is a local nonprofit home care agency seeking caring and dependable individuals to support clients throughout Mesa County who wish to remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes.

About the role

As a caregiver you will have the opportunity to build meaningful one-on-one relationships while helping clients maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Providing companionship and conversation
• Assisting with meal planning and preparation
• Helping with light housekeeping and daily household tasks
• Supporting personal care needs and routine health maintenance activities
• Observing and reporting concerns, changes, or client needs

Every client has unique needs, but common duties include the above.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• Compassionate, dependable, and motivated
• Open to learning and training
• Comfortable working independently
• Able to provide their own transportation with valid driver’s license, insurance, and a reliable vehicle

No previous health or caregiving experience required!

Schedule

• Part-time hours only (under 30 hours per week)
• Morning, daytime, or early evening visits
• No overnight shifts
• Flexible scheduling built around client needs and caregiver availability

Pay

$17.00–$18.50/hour
