Import Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Handling Import scheduling
• Handling import-related documentation
• Weekly import settlements
• Ensuring proper regulatory compliance for all international transactions
• Receiving POs and managing FOB cost
• Managing shipping plans, HS-CODE and country of origin
• Following up for quality claims and submitting the verified documents
• Completing various other tasks, such as free trade agreements, duty drawback, initiatives, internal audit functions, and transaction reviews
• Communicating with various external parties like forwarders, overseas vendors, customers, carriers, and shipping companies to prepare and coordinate logistics

Job Qualification

• 1-3 years of experience in import, export, or logistics work experience
• Knowledge of U.S. import regulations, including areas such as classification, valuation, free trade agreements, special import programs (anti-dumping and countervailing cases)
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a rapidly changing, complex environment
• Continuous Improvement Focus: ability to articulate a problem and identify root cause
• Strong attention to detail in order to comply with company policies and U.S. Import Regulations
• Strong grasp of MS office
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics, Operation, or equivalent (Preferred)
• Bilingual (Korean and English)
