About the role

As an Implementation Scientist, you will scientifically study methods that promote the systematic uptake of evidence-based practices into routine clinical care. You will apply validated frameworks such as the Consolidated Framework for Implementation Research (CFIR), the Expert Recommendations for Implementing Change (ERIC), and the RE-AIM model to understand and overcome barriers preventing effective interventions from being adopted at scale. You will also act as an advisor to customer executive management and business partners on research and innovation-related topics.

Responsibilities

  • Design implementation protocols for Siemens Healthineers Clinical Value Programs (CVP) and Performance Value Programs (PVP) deployment at strategic accounts.
  • Conduct barrier and facilitator assessments prior to and during CVP rollout.
  • Develop outcome measurement frameworks aligned to clinical and operational metrics (e.g., LOS, readmission rates, procedure efficiency, cost-per-case).
  • Generate real-world evidence through partnership with RISE, clinical site collaborators, and key expert networks.
  • Support manuscript development, conference abstracts, and white papers that build SHS’s outcomes science reputation.
  • Inform global CVP strategy with NAM-specific adoption and outcomes data.
  • Align with collaboration leads of other business lines.
  • Engage subject matter experts from Siemens Healthineers as needed.

Requirements

  • Doctorate degree (PhD or equivalent) in implementation science, health services research, public health, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of applied experience in a healthcare system, life sciences company, or academic medical center context.
  • Proficiency in implementation frameworks (CFIR, ERIC, RE-AIM, EPIS).
  • Mixed-methods research design: qualitative interviews, surveys, and registry/EHR data analysis.
  • Experience working across clinical, operational, and commercial stakeholders.
  • Publication track record and scientific communication skills.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and ability to work in a matrixed, fast-paced commercial environment.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Ability to translate complex scientific information to audiences ranging from laymen to expert.
  • Comfortable speaking to C-Level Executives and Government Officials.
  • Ability to work independently and within a large team.
  • Strategic thinking and ability to develop collaterals and talking points.
  • Desire to learn, ask questions, and be resourceful to identify innovative applications and develop creative solutions to complex problems.
  • Travel up to 60%, including short-term domestic & international trips.
  • Experience with federal research grants preferred.

Pay

The base pay range for this position is $107,060 - $147,213. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. If this is a commission-eligible position, commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company’s plan, with commissions based on individual and/or company performance.
