The Implementation Project Manager position is open for Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM at our SLC or Ogden Branch. This role is responsible for leading the successful delivery of strategic banking, technology, and operational initiatives.
Experience/Skills Necessary to Perform Duties
- Bachelor's degree in business, technology, project management, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- 3–5+ years of project management, implementation management, or related experience preferred.
- Experience leading cross-functional projects from planning through implementation.
- Experience with technology, system, or third-party vendor implementations preferred.
- Banking or financial services experience preferred.
- Project management certification such as PMP, CAPM, or equivalent preferred.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Project Management & Implementation Delivery Lead banking, technology, operational Bank initiatives from planning through successful implementation.
- Develop and manage project plans, scope, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, issues, and implementation activities.
- Partner with business units, Technology teams, subject matter experts, vendors, and other stakeholders to coordinate project activities and drive deliverables to completion.
- Facilitate project meetings, working sessions, status updates, and implementation planning to maintain alignment and accountability.
- Carefully coordinate requirements, configuration, testing, training, communications, procedures, and operational readiness activities as appropriate.
- Manage third-party vendor activities and ensure commitments align with Bank requirements, timelines, and expectations.
- Provide clear project communication and reporting, escalating risks, barriers, and decisions when appropriate.

- Strong project management, organization, and implementation skills.
- Ability to lead cross-functional projects and drive accountability without direct authority over project participants.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, timelines, dependencies, and stakeholders.
- Strong communication, facilitation, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to identify risks and issues early and drive them toward resolution.
- Ability to translate business objectives into structured project and implementation plans.
- Comfortable working with both business and technology teams and translating between operational and technical perspectives.
- Strong attention to detail while maintaining awareness of broader project objectives and business outcomes.
- Ability to work effectively with third-party vendors and implementation partners.
- Working knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and governance practices.
