Implementation Engineer

About the Role

Responsible for conducting site surveys and designing network solutions supporting voice, data, security, and A/V systems. Create technical documents, specifications, and reports; work with cross-functional teams, clients, vendors, and stakeholders. Implement and support network architectures for on-premises and cloud environments, managing device configurations and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop system designs, estimates, plans, and documentation for network implementation.
• Coordinate with teams and vendors to ensure seamless integration and deployment.
• Support security and network operations, documenting all technical details necessary for implementation.

Requirements

• 5+ years supporting DoD enterprise networks.
• 3+ years with commercial hardware, networks, and cloud services.
• Experience with network discovery, security protocols, routing, switching, and designing implementation plans.
• Secret clearance, HS diploma or GED, and DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II Certification.

Skills

• Strong communication, detail orientation, and multitasking abilities.
• Willingness to travel.
• Knowledge of core Internet protocols, wireless, vendor solutions (Cisco, Juniper, etc.), and cloud services (AWS, Azure).
• Understanding of structured cabling standards.

A bachelor's degree is advantageous.
