Location: Remote (U.S.) – up to 80% travel

About the role

The Implementation Consultant is responsible for current workflow analysis and development, documenting, planning, and implementing future-state workflows, and providing both remote and on-site customer training, go-live support, and post-live optimization. This role requires significant travel throughout North America, including weekends, and the ability to work near a major airport.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct current-state workflow analysis.
  • Design future-state workflows, including system and department process workflows.
  • Determine application optimization within departments and provide best-practice methodologies to customers.
  • Analyze unique configurations of customer sites and customize processes and training accordingly.
  • Develop training plans and documentation.
  • Coordinate and provide application training.
  • Document training and other go-live support activities.
  • Provide application training and support to internal staff as required.
  • Identify, file, and follow up on product feature and issue requests during implementation.
  • Proactively engage in change management processes related to implementations.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience using a PACS system in a healthcare environment.
  • Ability to travel up to 80% of the time in the U.S. and Canada.
  • Valid and unrestricted passport for travel between the U.S. and Canada.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience working as a radiology technologist or PACS administrator.
  • 2+ years of experience delivering training and/or education.
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in healthcare technology implementations.
  • 3+ years of experience working in or supporting the healthcare provider market with an intermediate understanding of clinical workflows.
  • Experience developing and conducting presentations for various audiences.
  • Intermediate knowledge of the healthcare imaging space, specifically radiology.
  • Demonstrated intermediate analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
  • 2+ years of experience using specific Radiology Solutions PACS.
