About the role
As an Implementation Analyst, you will perform implementation tasks and partner with Project Managers to deliver accurate and timely solutions on projects. You will participate from post-sales through the implementation process until the customer is live on the ERP platform, owning project tasks such as system configuration, business process consultation, data transformation, testing, training, and software launches. You will also collaborate with the team to drive strategic customer projects and participate in cross-functional teams to ensure customer success.
Responsibilities
- Ensure customer success by leveraging knowledge of the software and industry best practices to guide implementations.
- Lead and/or participate in project kick-off, business process review, data transformation, procedure development, training, and go-live activities.
- Lead and/or participate in weekly status calls with customers to discuss project status, best practices, and progress toward implementation completion.
- Serve as the primary customer contact for assigned projects.
- Use knowledge of DMSi products and resources to configure the ERP platform to meet customer needs.
- Utilize DMSi’s internal project management, customer support, and knowledge tools.
- Participate in specialized teams, workgroups, or value-added areas like Power Teams.
- Lead, attend, and assist with training for internal personnel, customers, and prospects.
- Develop deep industry knowledge and translate it into ERP platform capabilities.
- Become a Subject Matter Expert on aspects of the ERP platform.
Requirements
- Understanding of ERP system concepts, business processes, and a firm grasp of accounting principles and procedures.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for training, emails, documentation, and presentations.
- Good analytical, logical, research, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to apply Project Management principles and utilize DMSi’s project methodology for professional services.
- Ability to positively interact with all levels of the company and external stakeholders.
- Maintain a high degree of tact, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Travel to customer locations, including overnight stays, business air travel, and car rental.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, MIS, or equivalent work experience.
- Normal office environment with use of computers and telephone systems; no unusual physical demands.
