Immunohematology Reference Lab Tech, FT/3rd shift
About the role
Join the ImpactLife Blood Banking team as a full-time Laboratory/Medical Technologist in our immunohematology reference lab. You will perform specialized testing to serve local hospital clients, including antibody identification, resolution of compatibility problems, and identifying appropriate antigen-negative red cells.
This position requires the ability to train on first shift and work a schedule of Monday–Thursday, 9:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m., with on-call and holiday rotations.
Requirements
- Experience in an Immunohematology Reference Lab or hospital transfusion service performing basic and complex donor and patient testing
- Attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a team-oriented mindset
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical, physical, biological, or clinical science highly desired
- MT/MLS certification (ASCP preferred) or MLT
- SBB certification a plus
