Compensation: $90,000+ dependent on experience Qualifications Successful completion of the State Bar Exam and sworn into the Supreme Court of the State you are licensed inSolid communication skills and problem-solving skills required in order to work with clients, staff members and senior attorneysActive member of the American Bar Association (ABA)Prepared to learn from senior attorneys to meet our client needs and grow our client baseHas a Juris Doctor (J.D. degree) from an accredited law school Responsibilities Keep files organized to make sure the most recent updates are accessible to other attorneys, paralegals, and staffConduct legal research, prepare for and attend hearings and/or other legal proceedings, and provide legal counsel with the help of senior associate attorneysAnalyze conflicts in legal matters, advise clients on solutions, and negotiate on behalf of clientsResolve cases efficiently by using communicating effectively with and working alongside senior attorneys and paralegalsPrepare correspondence and legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, briefs, affidavits, motions, and settlement agreements for contract negotiations and proceedings
