About the role
This position is for an Immigration Associate Attorney in the firm’s Los Angeles, CA office.
Responsibilities
- Advise, counsel, and train employees on a wide range of immigration laws and regulations.
- Represent employers before administrative agencies in a broad range of employment-based immigration matters.
- File all types of Nonimmigrant Visas and Permanent Residence Applications.
Candidates should have strong employment-related immigration experience, not general-based immigration work.
Requirements
- JD from an accredited law school, with excellent academic credentials.
- 3-6 years’ experience handling all aspects of employment-based immigration.
- Experience must include non-immigrant visa petitions, with an emphasis on H-1B, L-1, E-1/2/3, and TN filings.
- Experience with immigrant visa filings, including PERM, EB-1, and AOS.
- High-volume practice experience is preferred.
- Licensed to practice law in the state of California.
Pay
For California, the expected salary range for this position is between $220,000 and $250,000. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law. This position is also eligible for annual bonuses.
