Home Health Aide
We are seeking a Home Health Aide to work with our geriatric and/or pediatric clients, one-on-one, in a professional and compassionate manner at their home in the surrounding areas of Pottstown, PA. The available shifts are up to 40-hours available! Full-time or Part-time hours available! Weekday and Weekend availability! Additional clients available in the surrounding areas (Phoenixville, Pottstown, King of Prussia, Spring City, Norristown, Collegeville, etc.)!
Responsibilities
- Aid clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor's appointments, walks, etc.)
- Aid clients with personal care and hygiene
- Plan and prepare meals
- Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
- Be a pleasant and supportive companion
- Report any unusual incidents
Requirements
- 2 years of verifiable Home Care or Facility experience
- Form of transportation to client's residence
- Valid PA Driver's License preferred
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
- Must pass State and Federal background checks
- Must have up-to-date Physical and Two-Step PPD or Chest X-ray
- Must pass Home Health Aide pre-employment Test
- Minimum Education required: High School diploma or GED
