Guardian Angel Senior Services is hiring compassionate, dependable caregivers (PCA, HHA, CNA, or Homemaker) to provide quality in‑home care to seniors throughout Shutesbury, MA and surrounding communities. As an in‑home caregiver, you will help older adults remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. Your care provides companionship, dignity, encouragement, and peace of mind to clients and their families.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and personal care
- Providing companionship, conversation, and emotional support
- Preparing meals based on client preferences and dietary needs
- Helping with light housekeeping and laundry
- Running essential errands when needed
- Providing medication reminders
- Observing clients and reporting changes to the appropriate supervisor
- Helping clients maintain a safe and comfortable home
- Providing respectful, dependable, and compassionate care
Qualifications

- Able to communicate clearly in English
- Strong organization and time‑management skills

- Able to provide reliable transportation
- HHA or CNA certification welcome when applicable
No HHA or CNA certification yet? Guardian Angel Senior Services offers free training to qualified applicants, helping you build valuable caregiving skills and start a rewarding career in home care. You do not need years of experience — bring your compassion, dedication, and willingness to learn.
Pay
$18.00 to $20.00 per hour, based on experience, skills, certifications, and qualifications. Qualified new caregivers can earn a $250 sign‑on bonus after completing their first 90 days (must work at least 20 hours per week with no unexcused absences during the first 90 days).
