Immediate Hiring for Construction/Production Workers

About the role

Titan Homes, a division of Champion Home Builders, Inc., is seeking General Production workers to join their team at the Sangerfield, NY facility. Located approximately 30 minutes from Utica, Cazenovia, Sherburne, and Richfield Springs.

Full benefit package

Includes a retirement plan with a company match. Full-time, Monday through Friday schedule, paid weekly, ranging from $20 to $27 per hour based on experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Performs all manual labor in the assigned area. - Maintains cleanliness of the work area. - Reads and uses a tape measure. - Reads blueprints and orders materials. - Communicates effectively with coworkers. - Uses hand tools, air tools, and electrical tools.

Requirements

- Less than high school education or up to one month of related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. - Previous experience in manufacturing or modular housing is preferred.

Qualifications

- Regularly required to stand, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk or hear. - Frequently required to walk, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. - Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. - Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Skills

- Ability to read and use a tape measure. - Ability to read blueprints and order materials. - Effective communication skills. - Proficiency in using hand tools, air tools, and electrical tools.
