IMM Operator- Mix II

About the role

IMM Operators are the core of Purple! We need someone who is ready to work hard every day and be a great addition to our team. As an IMM Operator - Mix II, you are responsible for keeping up with the demands while operating safely.

Responsibilities

• Ensure mix equipment is running at peak efficiencies.
• Follow all production and machine protocols putting safety above all else.
• Handle equipment starting and stopping activities during each designated shift.
• Load and unload items from machines and dollies.
• Ensure that all processes are followed in accordance with company protocol.
• Make sure that appropriate safety measures are considered at every step of the production process.
• Inspect product and record data at appropriate steps of the production cycle.
• Make sure that tools and equipment are cleaned and maintained properly at the end of each shift.
• Responsible for proper labelling and packaging of finished items.
• Assist Engineering and Maintenance in troubleshooting issues.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with the ability to train as well as lead.
• Proven ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels.
• Strong computer skills; Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment.

Physical Requirements

• Remaining in stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods of time (occasionally).
• Adjusting or moving objects up to 15 pounds in all directions (occasionally).
• Communicating with others to exchange information (constantly).
• Repetitive motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers (constantly).
• Assessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of work assigned (constantly).
• Noisy open office environment (occasionally).

Schedule

This full-time position is expected to work approximately 30–40 hours per week. This is a good faith estimate, and actual hours may vary based on business needs.

Pay

The compensation target for this role is $21.75 per hour.
