IMH Supply Chain Tech II

Job Summary

Responsible for distributing and issuing daily supplies, linen, mail, and incoming shipments for the entire facility. Other duties may include receiving stock and delivering to ordering units, filling linen carts, performing courier routes, as well as working directly in CPD.

Essential Job Functions

• Utilizes the Inventory Control System as well as the linen (Controltex) handheld computer in a timely and efficient manner.
• Restocks supplies in the Kanban bins, isolation carts, crash carts, and identifies expired goods.
• Fills and delivers linen carts to the entire facility.
• Enters all linen transactions into the computer.
• Makes sure that supplies are also stocked appropriately on the nursing units/clean utility room.
• Receives all items and delivers to all units in the facility.
• Timely completion of any other duties as assigned in the linen, CPD, receiving, courier, and mailroom departments.

Required Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience and Training: 2-4 years’ experience in the same or closely related position, familiar with inventory control, Lawson, or similar applications.
• Understanding of the inventory function in a distribution environment.
• Computer literacy is also required along with interpersonal skills with all levels of people within the organization.
