Join a team passionate about patient care and excellence in imaging services. As an Imaging Technology Assistant at WakeMed Health & Hospitals, you’ll support technologists and make a real impact in patients’ lives by ensuring smooth operations before, during, and after imaging procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist technologists with patient care and exam preparation.
• Safely and compassionately transport and transfer patients.
• Prepare imaging rooms and equipment for upcoming procedures.
• Learn to operate imaging support tools, patient movement devices, and computer systems.
• Support clerical and technical tasks to maintain department efficiency.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
• College courses in Radiologic Technology (preferred).
• 3 months of healthcare experience (preferred).

Qualifications

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, clinical environment.
• Eager to learn and grow in the imaging field.
