About the Role
The Gig Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures to aid patient diagnosis and treatment.
Responsibilities
- Operate imaging equipment with proficiency and ensure patient safety.
- Maintain high-quality imaging standards and accurate documentation of procedures and findings.
- Effectively communicate with patients and healthcare professionals to provide optimal care.
- Submit equipment and technology service requests as needed.
- Assist with clinical rotations, if required.
- Float between designated facilities, providing flexible support across locations.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited imaging program with clinical hours, or a Bachelor's in Radiology for MRI technologists.
- Minimum of 1-year experience in MRI or relevant imaging modalities.
- Relevant certifications such as ARRT (MR, CT) or ARRT-Radiography, and BLS certification.
- State licensure may be required based on location.
- High school diploma or equivalent for radiologic technologists.
