About the Role

As an Imaging (Radiology) Technologist, you will perform professional duties involving a variety of technical procedures to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis. This role allows for independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. You will join a team focused on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a compassionate and supportive environment.

Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center (EIRMC) is a full-service hospital with 318+ patient beds, serving southeast Idaho, western Wyoming, Yellowstone National Park, and parts of Montana. Facilities include an ER, a Level II Trauma Center, a Level 1 ICU (one of two in Idaho), the only Burn Center in Idaho, and a 74-bed Behavioral Health Center offering inpatient and outpatient mental health care for adolescents and adults.

EIRMC is part of HCA Healthcare, a network of over 300 affiliate facilities across the country, providing opportunities for travel and relocation.

Responsibilities

  • Provide patients with proper procedures and high-quality images to assist physicians in diagnosis.
  • Perform a variety of imaging procedures in the radiology department, including portable exams and c-arm procedures throughout the hospital.
  • Schedule, plan, implement, and complete service requests while maintaining a friendly and compassionate environment.
  • Apply knowledge of growth and development to understand the range of treatment needed for diverse patient groups.
  • Stay up to date with current techniques and procedures in radiology.

Qualifications

  • ARRT-R (Radiography) certification.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification must be obtained within 7 days of employment start date.
