Follows prescribed techniques in administering general and specific radiographs.
Produces high quality radiographs on all patient age groups while explaining the procedure to the patient.
Positions and/or immobilizes patient for procedure, selects appropriate technical factor for specific body part, and reviews images for quality and accuracy of positioning.
Willingly helps in other departments or other team members within the Imaging department whenever the needs arise.
Auxiliary support for Radiologist with Invasive / Non-Invasive Imaging procedures.
Transports patients to and from floor if needed while confirming face-to-face hand off.
Promotes a professional image by adhering to established dress codes.
Completes work assignments within a reasonable time frame.
Reports to supervisor all discrepancies in the work environment.
Utilizes PACS and EMR correctly and efficiently.
Adhere to all TJC standards.
Promotes courteous behavior through polite and respectful communication with all co-workers, patients, and guests.
Adheres to all Compliance laws and regulations and reports any suspected unethical activities to the proper individual.
Uses Safe Radiation Shielding practices at all times (ALARA, wearing of lead aprons, shielding of patients, appropriate collimations).

Must be a 2nd year student in an accredited Diagnostic Imaging Program.
BLS certification must be current or completed within first 60 days.
Knowledgeable of all basic imaging procedures and no issues with track of graduation.
