Imaging Supervisor - Full Time
About the role
Supports the Departmental Director in managing Imaging, Cardiovascular, Pulmonary, and Neuroscience departments by overseeing daily operations, including staff scheduling, attendance, payroll, and supply management. Monitors quality assurance programs, assists in staff evaluations and competency updates, and reviews procedures to ensure compliance with standards. Ensures department systems like EPIC and PACS are functional for optimal workflow, and collaborates on policy development, utilization review, and process improvements. Promotes a healthy work environment through effective communication, conflict resolution, and staff empowerment, ensuring delivery of high-quality patient care. Coordinates staff education, oversees departmental performance improvement initiatives, and assists in staff recruitment and performance assessments. Maintains compliance with regulatory requirements and supports strategic planning, revenue processes, and customer satisfaction efforts. Serves as a professional role model and maintains departmental visibility to foster growth and excellence.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Radiologic Technology or Respiratory Care certification
- BS degree preferred
- Minimum of two years’ relevant clinical experience
- Prior leadership experience preferred
- NY state credentials or equivalent in relevant modalities
