Imaging Services Supervisor - FT - Evenings - $20K Sign on Bonus - MHW

About the Role

Supervises the daily activities of assigned Imaging staff. This role involves overseeing operations in the evenings and weekends, ensuring high standards of patient safety, quality, and customer service. Responsibilities

• Reviews and approves payroll for direct reports.
• Orders supplies and maintains appropriate inventory levels in accordance with the established budget.
• Trains, coaches, and evaluates staff performance, setting clear expectations.
• Coordinates patient care with other healthcare team members to ensure effective and efficient delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes.
• Performs staff responsibilities as needed to fulfill required service levels.
• Leads service recovery efforts for complex patient issues and complaints to facilitate resolution.
• Determines, coordinates, and supervises daily staffing assignments and staffing levels.
• Oversees equipment quality control testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory standards and requirements.
• Assists with the preparation of the operational capital budget under the guidance of Imaging leadership.
• Develops and implements action plans to meet and exceed performance improvement and safety initiatives.

Requirements

• Three (3) years of technologist experience in the modality of supervision.
• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment.
• Accredited program in imaging, radiology, or diagnostic medical sonography.
• One of the following certifications is required:
  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
  • ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography)
  • RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer)
  • RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist)
  • RVS (Registered Vascular Specialist)
  • NMTCB (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board)
  • ARMRIT (American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists)
• Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license from the State of Florida is required for ARRT and NMTCB certifications.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross (including grace period options).
