Imaging Services Rep I, Diagnostic Imaging

Responsibilities
- Receive patients, collect demographic and insurance information, verify insurance coverage and authorization for services and accurately enter data into multiple computer systems for completion of the Imaging Services outpatient admission process.
- Discuss financial responsibility with patients, maintain accurate patient account information, verify insurance, obtain authorizations/referrals.
- Make quick, independent decisions using good judgment regarding all examinations.
- Respond to physicians, patients and families with empathy, respect and understanding.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent required.
- Medical terminology and knowledge of anatomy preferred.
- One year of office/reception experience required, preferably in a health care setting.
- Three years of experience in the Imaging Services Representative II position or experience equal to the ISR I position with another organization as determined by OMC.

Pay
Competitive salary range: $21.33 - $29.45 per hour.
Schedule
Variable pay range based on shift differentials and premiums.
