About the role
An Imaging Services Manager at Centerpoint Health-Winchester is a key member of the team dedicated to enhancing patient care and operational efficiency. This position plays a pivotal role in managing the day-to-day operations of the imaging department, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and fostering a supportive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Manages the daily operations of the assigned department or function to ensure alignment with departmental and organizational objectives.
- Assists with developing specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization.
- Manages staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management.
- Performs and oversees scheduling, staff development, recruitment, payroll, and student engagements.
- Maintains departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, and vendor relations.
- Determines and justifies needs for systems/equipment/supplies purchases, monitors usage, and oversees proper working order and/or stock supplies.
- Affirms the quality of patient care delivered and coordinates patient care services with patients, staff, physicians, and other departments.
- May provide patient care when necessary.
- Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.
- Integrates evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols.
- Manages the work of others, including planning, assigning, scheduling and reviewing work, ensuring quality standards.
- Hires, terminates, trains and develops, reviews performance and administers corrective action for staff.
Requirements
- Current bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Required certifications: BLS, ARRT.

- Proven leadership and management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience in healthcare administration or a related field.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
