Imaging Service Engineer II

About the role

With a specific focus on OEC-C Arms, this role is responsible for working independently in providing repairs and preventative maintenance for hospital clients' diagnostic imaging equipment. This position is required to maintain records, document results, and coordinate outside resources for repairs. Response times are measured to achieve customer requirements and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Performs repairs and calibrations to diagnostic imaging equipment and maintains associated records by filing accurate and timely reports with Dispatcher
• Solve problems utilizing analytical thought processes which may involve multiple contacts with internal and external resources
• Understands NFPA-99 and electrical leakage limits with a good understanding of biological parameters
• Assist other personnel as required
• Interacts with vendors. Research resources and suppliers
• Complies with facility and company policy and procedure guidelines
• Comply with ongoing educational opportunities provided. Use unassigned time to increase knowledge on technology and procedures
• Understands and works well with the auditing agencies and their requirements, i.e., ACHA, TJC
• Conducts and maintains duties, personal appearance, interactions with fellow employees, staff, and customers in a professional manner
• Maintains work area in a neat and orderly fashion
• Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties in this job classification

Qualifications

• At least five (5) years imaging related experience or a combination of imaging related work experience and specialized training
• Two-year degree from an accredited school in electronics or equivalent military experience
• Completed an internship with an accredited program
