About the role

Takes on a vital role in maintaining and advancing cutting-edge medical technology that directly supports patient care and clinical excellence. Works independently to perform advanced inspection, troubleshooting, repair, calibration, and maintenance of diagnostic imaging and therapeutic radiation equipment. Ensures compliance with regulatory standards and supports safety initiatives, documentation, and audit readiness. Provides expert technical guidance and mentorship to staff, fostering professional development and consistent performance. Collaborates with clinical teams to identify and resolve technology-related issues impacting patient care and workflow. Leads or contributes to cybersecurity efforts including risk assessment, incident response, strategy implementation, and compliance with HIPAA and Joint Commission.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair complex imaging equipment, including CT, MRI, X-ray/Fluoro, Cath Lab, Ultrasound, and Mammography across Siemens, GE, Philips, Canon, Hologic, and other OEM platforms in a hospital environment.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and support safety initiatives, documentation, and audit readiness.
• Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to staff, fostering professional development and consistent performance.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to identify and resolve technology-related issues impacting patient care and workflow.
• Lead or contribute to cybersecurity efforts including risk assessment, incident response, strategy implementation, and compliance with HIPAA and Joint Commission.
• Manage operational and fiscal responsibilities, including purchasing, resource planning, customer relations, and support of business development activities.

Requirements

• Education Requirement: Associate degree or bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Related Experience: 5 years

• Deep knowledge of regulatory compliance with experience leading audits, remediation, and staff development.

Pay

Pay Range: $48.14 per hour - $62.30 per hour
