About the role
At Loyola Medicine, our Imaging Professional Support Supervisor plays a critical role in leading teams, optimizing operations, and ensuring every patient receives the exceptional service and care they deserve.
Responsibilities
- Oversees daily operations, staffing, and scheduling to ensure efficient department performance and quality patient care.
- Makes sure productivity, performance metrics, and operational goals are met; implements process improvements as needed.
- Conducts staff huddles, addresses operational issues, and ensures compliance with departmental and regulatory standards.
- Recruits, hires, trains, and develops imaging staff.
- Provides coaching, performance feedback, and corrective action when necessary.
- Promotes professional development, ongoing education, and a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Oversees scheduling operations to maximize patient access and department efficiency.
- Collaborates with physicians and leadership to optimize resources and patient flow.
Requirements
- Associate degree or equivalent training acquired via work experience or education.
- Minimum 6-10 years of previous job-related experience.
- Minimum 5+ years of previous job-related experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Computer skills: EPIC, Microsoft PowerPoint, PACS, Patient Safety Communication System, UKG.
Qualifications
- Additional qualifications (nice to have): Bachelor’s degree, 5+ years of previous job-related experience in healthcare or service industry, preferred industry work experience in healthcare or service industry.
