How You'll Contribute
- Manages the daily operations of the department to meet organizational objectives.
- Develops specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization.
- Manages staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management.
- Schedules, staff development, recruitment, payroll, and student engagements.
- Maintains departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, and vendor relations.
- Determines and justifies needs for systems, equipment, and supplies and purchases, monitors usage, and oversees proper working order.
- Affirms the quality of patient care delivered and coordinates patient care services with patients, staff, physicians, and other departments.
- May provide patient care when necessary.
- Cultivates an environment that encourages professional growth.
- Integrates evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols.
- Exhibits a comprehensive understanding of healthcare regulatory and compliance (e.g., HIPAA).
- Hires, terminates, trains and develops, reviews performance and administers corrective action for staff.

What We're Looking For
- Education: Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
- Licenses: UT state imaging license and ARRT registry.
- Certifications: BLS.
