Imaging Assistant PRN

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an Imaging Assistant PRN to join Centerpoint Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, the nation's leading provider of healthcare services. This role is responsible for customer service and image distribution for Outpatient Radiology, including copying, mailing, and delivery of images in a timely and organized manner. Our team is passionate about ensuring an exceptional patient experience and committed to caring like family.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and process required admission documents, including order entry.
• Respond to patients, physicians, and others by telephone and face-to-face to process requests for images and reports.
• Handle subpoenas for images and reports.
• Act as a liaison for staff, outside agencies, vendors, physicians, corporate/division staff, and other departments within the facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
