Image Technician

Essential Functions

• Affords assistance in surface preparation and facility cleaning within the retail region.
• Supports the team in achieving daily production, quality, and safety objectives.
• Installs interior graphics including vinyl wall coverings and hanging signage.
• Maintains and cleans spray equipment hoses and nozzles using solvents, brushes, and cloths.
• Replaces screens and filters as necessary.
• Safeguards and maintains equipment in optimal working condition.
• Fulfills safety guidelines and adheres to job requirements.
• Completes work orders via email.
• Attends and participates in scheduled training and safety classes.
• Contributes to team efforts by supporting other tasks as needed.
• Promotes a positive and safe work environment for the team.
• Complies with state, federal, and company guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 2-5 years of retail painting experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Desired experience in interior graphic installation or wall covering.
• Must be able to operate both conventional and airless spray systems.
• Valid drivers' license and insurability as a driver.
• Requires traveling to store locations within the Division business unit.
• This job may involve out-of-town travel and occasional overnight stays.

Physical Requirements

• Complete physical activity inventory includes: sit/stand/walk for long periods, crouch, stoop, squat, and kneel.
• Bend/twist at the waist.
• Carry, climb ladders.
• Exposure to extreme hot/cold temperatures.
• Exposure to noise levels in the work environment.
• Lighting will include natural light and fluorescent lighting.
• Use of computer keyboard and mouse for data entry.
• View computer monitor.
• Hear and speak via telephone.
• Reach forward and/or overhead, grasp objects.
• Lift/carry up to 80 pounds from ground to overhead.
• Push/pull with arms up to a force of 30 lbs.

Work Environment

• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
• The lighting will include natural light from the outside and fluorescent lighting.
• Minimum direction and periodic supervision provided.
