Requirements
- A strong portfolio aimed at the publishing market
- Traditional-leaning stylistic elements with confident draftsmanship
- Strong characterisation and proportionate character design
- Rich storytelling and expressive world-building
- A unique personal approach that stands apart
- A sense of humour (a huge bonus!)

We’re especially excited to hear from Picture Book Illustrators who have:
- Magic, character-rich worlds full of charm, detail, and personality
- Immersive, memorable work that feels unmistakably their own
- Styles that are timeless yet contemporary: thoughtful, character-led, emotionally rich, and strong in storytelling
