About the role

Circle Medical is an adult-only primary care practice committed to the empanelment of primary care providers, delivering high-quality, continuity of care through a telemedicine-first approach. We are an evidence-based practice leveraging a proprietary, HIPAA-compliant EHR to ensure a safe and delightful experience for both patients and providers via two-way video-audio appointments.

Pay

Compensation follows a fee-for-service model:

  • Fully empaneled MDs earn an average of $100/hr, with $50 per encounter plus a robust incentive program.
  • Fully empaneled DOs earn an average of $200/hr, with $50 per encounter plus a robust incentive program.
  • Fully empaneled APPs earn an average of $66–$132/hr, with $33 per encounter.

Appointments last 15 to 30 minutes.

Schedule

We operate 7 days a week, offering flexibility for providers to set their own recurring schedules, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver a true primary care experience rooted in provider empanelment and continuity of care.
  • Utilize proprietary software with a high degree of technical skill and adaptability to fast-paced improvements driven by product and engineering teams.
  • Diagnose and treat a variety of adult/primary care conditions in an evidence-based manner.

Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited nursing or medical program with national certification.
  • Current Illinois medical license with the ability to obtain additional state licenses as needed.
  • Valid Illinois DEA Registration in good standing, including all schedules to prescribe medications (e.g., S2).
  • Board Certification in Family or Internal Medicine.
  • Commitment to evidence-based medicine.
  • Willingness to learn and treat a broad range of adult/primary care conditions.
  • A PC with Windows 11 Pro or a Mac newer than 2020.
  • Must reside in the United States.

Qualifications

  • Experience as a primary care provider in a clinical setting (ideal).
  • At least 3 years of post-residency practice experience (strongly preferred for APPs).
  • At least 2 years of post-residency practice experience (strongly preferred for Physicians).
