iLearn Night Education Teacher

About the role

iLearn night education teachers will oversee and assist students working on computer-based Edgenuity credit-recovery classes across all subject matters. Teachers should feel comfortable re-teaching and tutoring in Math, English, Social Studies, and Science. Classroom management and organization skills will be paramount. This is an active role requiring teachers to closely monitor students and encourage them to complete their courses.

The iLearn program utilizes a hybrid-learning approach. Students may participate either in person at their respective school or remotely via Zoom.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and assist students in computer-based Edgenuity credit-recovery classes
• Re-teach and tutor students in Math, English, Social Studies, and Science
• Manage classroom organization and student behavior
• Monitor student progress and encourage course completion

Requirements

• Illinois Professional Education License

Schedule

3:05 pm to 5:05 pm, Monday through Friday

Pay

Paid at the instructional rate per LEAD contract
